Albizia amara is a deciduous tree it can grow up to 15 meters tall. It has a smooth, dark green, scaly bark. The leaves consist of up to 15 pairs of side stalks and the leaflets are tiny. The flowers are whitish-yellow powder puffs with long stamens and golden pollen.
Leaflets are oblong. The pods are oblong & flat. The flowers are present throughout May and the fruits ripen during October and November. The tree is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine, source of wood and other materials.Plant Specifications
