Anemone is perennial flowering plant that have basal leaves with long leaf-stems that can be upright or prostrate. A scarlet beauty with shiny red petals and a black center that is set off by a white halo.

Planting and care
- Water a plant when the soil feels dry to touch
- Water thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering for the winter & rainy season
- Try to water the plants in the morning around 8-10am
- Remove dead, infected or damaged plant parts and throw in the garbage collector
- Fertilize the plant during planting and growing season with organic fertilizer
- Store the bulbs away from sunlight in a cool and dry area and check regularly
- Do not store bulbs for more time as they can loose their viability

- Plant Anemone bulbs in rainy and winter season
- Soak Anemone bulbs for 2-4 hours in a cup or small bowl of water
- This will encourage them to sprout faster and get growing
- Plant the bulbs in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in full sun or partial shade
- Before planting, loosen the soil and add compost in the soil to increase its fertility
- Plant the bulbs 2-3 cm deep and a minimum of 4-6 cm apart
- Set the bulb in the hole with the pointy end up
- After planting cover the bulb with soil and water thoroughly
